OBRIGADO QUERIDAS :)
Para as DUAS: BB King - Darling you know i love you
Now get down people And listen to me Gonna tell you how I made history You can call me Louis I'm the king of France Check out my story While you do your dance Now it's seventeen hundred and eighty nine The peasants were starving But I was fine We were hanging out Down in old Versailles That's the weekend pad of my queen and I In the alleys of Paris They was eating rats But it was fillet mignon For the aristocrats There was Dukes and Counts and Barons and Earls I gave them the title But I kept the girl Blond, redhead, wild, brunette Ladies in wait I didn't wait to get There was truffles for breakfast Toast for brunch The lion of the folley's version for lunch...
Ooh yes it's good to be the king Ooh la la Gee but it's good to be the king
Say it girls
You can be sure about one thing Ooh la la Mais oui, it's good to be the king
It's good to be the king
Well the palace was rocking And we were doing it good When we heard there was some trouble In the neighborhood I wasn't too worried No big deal We step out of line Jack, you're near the Bastille The party kept spinning All day an dall night The champagne was flowing We were feeling all right They were screaming for breath Things started to shake But Marie Antoinette said, "We'll let 'em eat cake." Now the rapper wouldn't have it They was angry and beat They built a big old razor Called the Guillotine Then the people all shouted We'll have all day Down with dirty war Give us Perrier I said that in the war things might get screwy But they'd never lay a finger On good king Louis Just keep your cool Don't fret, don't freak Say hey Say what Say magnifico
Ooh yes it's good to be the king Ooh la la Gee but it's good to be the king
Your fantasy is my reality
You can be sure about one thing Ooh la la Mais oui, it's good to be the king
It's good to be the king
Night and day Vous, vous voulez
Well they broke down the gate In one massive assault And the party came to a grinding halt They took the midgets and the freakies With the girls in tote And a voice said Louis, it's time to go They put my neck on the block They took off my wig And it occured to me This was the end of the gig They asked me did I have any Last words to say Well I raised my head And I hollered hey
Ooh yes it's good to be the king Ooh la la Gee but it's good to be the king
Well c'est la vie Make that one more
You can be sure about one thing Ooh la la Mais oui, it's good to be the king
It's good to be the king
Bonjour Ooh la la Ooh yes, it's good to be the king
The short story of APHRODITE'S CHILD starts in 1968, when the Greek/Egyptian bassist and vocalist named Artemios Ventouris Roussos (Demis Roussos) and the powerful drummer Lucas Sideras were supposed to meet the multi instrumentalist Evengelio Odyssey Papathanassiou (VANGELIS) who had left his first group FORMINXS, but the first two were not admitted to England because they had no working permits but custom officers discovered photos and tapes in their luggage so they assumed the musicians intended to stay.
A few months later the three musicians join in Paris with Anargyros Koulouris (Silver Koulouris) a very competent guitar player and they decide to form a new band which was supposed to mix traditional Greek music with Western Pop and Psychedelia, but they ended doing much more than was expected.
Due to their financial situation they had to sign a terrible contract with a record company. Soon after the birth of the band, Silver Kouloris has to leave the group because he was called for his Military Service and only joins again for the recording of their last album 666, during these years Demis Roussos has to play guitar and bass.
I told them I take photos for this magazine. They let me in to see you comb your hair. I watched for signs as I came throught that door. The anxious eyes that I've been waiting for. It's no use hoping I'm a dream. [Chorus:] Oh Marliese. The waiting almost brought me to my knees. Oh Marliese. You didn't really think I'd leave you in peace. It's no use crying out 'cos they can't help you now. You're forced to hear the words I have to say. I saw your face when I was taken down. You seemed so pleased, you're not so happy now. It's your turn to be afraid. [Chorus] So where's the smooth composure of the movie star. You must have played this many times before. Do I see tears? Well surely that's not true. Don't kid yourself, it's not worth hurting you. Bur remember when you try to sleep. [Chorus] ...

The moment I wake up Before I put on my makeup I say a little pray for you While combing my hair now, And wondering what dress to wear now, I say a little prayer for you
Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart and I will love you Forever, and ever, we never will part Oh, how I love you Together, forever, that's how it must be To live without you Would only meen heartbreak for me.
I run for the bus, dear, While riding I think of us, dear, I say a little prayer for you. At work I just take time And all through my coffee break-time, I say a little prayer for you.
Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart and I will love you Forever, and ever we never will part Oh, how I'll love you Together, forever, that's how it must be To live without you Would only mean heartbreak for me.
I say a little prayer for you
I say a little prayer for you
My darling believe me, ( beleive me) For me there is no one but you! Please love me too (answer his pray) And I'm in love with you (answer his pray) Answer my prayer now babe (answer his pray)
Forever, and ever, you'll stay in my heart and I will love you Forever, and ever we never will part Oh, how I'll love you Together, forever, that's how it must be To live without you Would only mean heartbreak for me (oooooooooh)
Its all the same, only the names will change Everyday it seems were wasting away Another place where the faces are so cold Id drive all night just to get back home
Chorus: Im a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride Im wanted dead or alive Wanted dead or alive
Sometimes I sleep, sometimes its not for days And the people I meet always go their separate ways Sometimes you tell the day By the bottle that you drink And times when youre all alone all you do is think
Chorus
I walk these streets, a loaded six string on my back I play for keeps, cause I might not make it back I been everywhere, still Im standing tall Ive seen a million faces an Ive rocked them all
Im a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride Im wanted dead or alive Im a cowboy, I got the night on my side Im wanted dead or alive Wanted dead or alive
Hoje soube-me a pouco.

I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation Shes coming in 12:30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation I stopped an old man along the way Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies He turned to me as if to say, hurry boy, its waiting there for you
Chorus: Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
The wild dogs cry out in the night As they grow restless longing for some solitary company I know that I must do whats right Sure as kilimanjaro rises like olympus above the serengeti I seek to cure whats deep inside, frightened of this thing that Ive become
Chorus
(instrumental break)
Hurry boy, shes waiting there for you
Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa I bless the rains down in africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
CHORUS If you want to be happy for the rest of your life Never make a pretty woman your wife so for my personal point of view Get an ugly girl to marry you (repeat)
A pretty woman makes her husband look small And very often causes his downfall As soon as he marries her then she starts Doing the things that will break his heart But if you make an ugly woman your wife Then you will be happy for the rest of your life An ugly woman cooks meals on time She'll always give you peace of mind
CHORUS If you want to be happy for the rest of your life Never make a pretty woman your wife So for my personal point of view Get an ugly girl to marry you (repeat)
So if your friends say you have no taste Go ahead and marry anyway Though her face is ugly her eyes don't match Take it from me she's a better catch
CHORUS If you want to be happy for the rest of your life Never make a pretty woman your wife So for my personal point of view Get an ugly girl to marry you (repeat)
Say kid YES I saw your wife the other day UH HUH And she's ugly HA HA BUT SHE SURE CAN COOK
CHORUS If you want to be happy for the rest of your life Never make a pretty woman your wife So for my personal point of view Get an ugly girl to marry you (repea)

You want a piece of my heart You better start from start You wanna be in the show Come on baby lets go
Dupla Carlos Santana - Padre Borga??????
Quem vai pagar é a Vita e eu e a Canuca a rir lol
Sem esquecer o Kok, e o chat do sexoeafins, aqui vai CAMA E MESA LOL
More please and thank you Introducing the Celtic Soul Brothers and featuring the strong devoted, Ladies and gentlemen, would you now please take your leave. Because we've sat back looking and nearly been took, even been scared but now I don't care and I'm telling anyone who'll listen. I've seen what's on show and now there's no more to know 'Cos I've been there, I've been seen there, I've seemed it, dreamed it, Beened it, schemed it. Excuse me please, you're standing in my space, So step aside, now your time's up. Come on my friends, I would now like to propose a toast- To the strength I see that's surrounding me and those who've cared, Oh yes, I've been scared and I'm telling anyone who'll listen I've seen what's on show and now there's no more to know, Oh I've been there, I've seen there, I've seemed it, dreamed it, Schemed it. isto porque... I'm In The Mood For Love
Jamiroquai & Jools Holland I'm in the mood for love Simply because you're near me Funny, but when you're near me I'm in the mood for love
Heaven is in your eyes Bright as the stars we're under Oh, is it any wonder? I'm in the mood for love
Why stop to think of whether This little dream might fade? Let's put our hearts together Now we are one, I'm not afraid
If there's a cloud above If it should rain, we'll let it But, for tonight, forget it I'm in the mood for love
Love, love, love, love, Love, love, love, love, Love, love, love, love, Love, love, love, love, Oh i'm in the mood for love Why stop to think of whether This little dream might fade? Let's put our hearts together Now we are one, I'm not afraid
Oh i'm in the mood for love Simply because you're near me Funny, but when you're near me I'm in the mood for love Love, love, love, love, Oh you know i'm in the mood for love Simply because you're near me Funny, but when you're near me I know i'm in the mood for, know i'm in the mood I'm in the mood for love, I'm in the, I'm in the I'm in the mood for love

Ps: reparem no BENFICA TV :)
You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you. You'd be like Heaven to touch. I wanna hold you so much. At long last love has arrived And I thank God I'm alive. You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you.
Pardon the way that I stare. There's nothing else to compare. The sight of you leaves me weak. There are no words left to speak, But if you feel like I feel, Please let me know that it's real. You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you.
I love you, baby, And if it's quite alright, I need you, baby, To warm a lonely night. I love you, baby. Trust in me when I say: Oh, pretty baby, Don't bring me down, I pray. Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay And let me love you, baby. Let me love you.
You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you. You'd be like Heaven to touch. I wanna hold you so much. At long last love has arrived And I thank God I'm alive. You're just too good to be true. Can't take my eyes off you.
I love you, baby, And if it's quite alright, I need you, baby, To warm a lonely night. I love you, baby. Trust in me when I say: Oh, pretty baby, Don't bring me down, I pray. Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay..
Hello. Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home?
Come on, now. I hear youre feeling down. Well I can ease your pain, Get you on your feet again.
Relax. I need some information first. Just the basic facts: Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ships smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin. When I was a child I had a fever. My hands felt just like two balloons. Now I got that feeling once again. I cant explain, you would not understand. This is not how I am. I have become comfortably numb.
Ok. Just a little pinprick. [ping] Therell be no more --aaaaaahhhhh! But you may feel a little sick.
Can you stand up? I do believe its working. good. Thatll keep you going for the show. Come on its time to go.
There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ships smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin. When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse, Out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look but it was gone. I cannot put my finger on it now. The child is grown, the dream is gone. I have become comfortably numb.
When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained But darlin' when I hold you Don't you know I feel the same 'Cause nothin' lasts forever And we both know hearts can change And it's hard to hold a candle In the cold November rain We've been through this such a long long time Just tryin' to kill the pain But lovers always come and lovers always go An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today Walking away If we could take the time to lay it on the line I could rest my head Just knowin' that you were mine All mine So if you want to love me then darlin' don't refrain Or I'll just end up walkin' In the cold November rain
Do you need some time...on your own Do you need some time...all alone Everybody needs some time...on their own Don't you know you need some time...all alone I know it's hard to keep an open heart When even friends seem out to harm you But if you could heal a broken heart Wouldn't time be out to charm you
Sometimes I need some time...on my own Sometimes I need some time...all alone Everybody needs some time...on their own Don't you know you need some time...all alone
And when your fears subside And shadows still remain, ohhh yeahhh I know that you can love me When there's no one left to blame So never mind the darkness We still can find a way 'Cause nothin' lasts forever Even cold November rain
Don't ya think that you need somebody Don't ya think that you need someone Everybody needs somebody You're not the only one You're not the only one
There is a house in New Orleans They call the Rising Sun And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy And God I know I'm one
My mother was a tailor She sewed my new bluejeans My father was a gamblin' man Down in New Orleans
Now the only thing a gambler needs Is a suitcase and trunk And the only time he's satisfied Is when he's on a drunk
------ organ solo ------
Oh mother tell your children Not to do what I have done Spend your lives in sin and misery In the House of the Rising Sun
Well, I got one foot on the platform The other foot on the train I'm goin' back to New Orleans To wear that ball and chain
Well, there is a house in New Orleans They call the Rising Sun And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy And God I know I'm one

I said far out, - what a day, a year, a laugh it is! You know, - well you know you had it comin to you, Now theres not a lot I can do
Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer; So now you put your head in your hands, oh no! I said far out, - what a day, a year, a laugh it is! You know, - well you know you had it comin to you, Now theres not a lot I can do.
Well work it out someday
If I could see something You can see anything you want boy If I could be someone- You can be anyone, celebrate boy. If I could do something- Well you can do something, If I could do anything- Well can you do something out of this world?
Take a dream on a sunday Take a life, take a holiday Take a lie, take a dreamer Dream, dream, dream, dream, dream along...
Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no! I said dreamer, youre nothing but a dreamer Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no! Oh no!

You get a shiver in the dark Its been raining in the park but meantime South of the river you stop and you hold everything A band is blowing dixie double four time You feel all right when you hear that music ring
You step inside but you dont see too many faces Coming in out of the rain to hear the jazz go down Too much competition too many other places But not too many horns can make that sound Way on downsouth way on downsouth london town
You check out guitar george he knows all the chords Mind hes strictly rhythm he doesnt want to make it cry or sing And an old guitar is all he can afford When he gets up under the lights to play his thing
And harry doesnt mind if he doesnt make the scene Hes got a daytime job hes doing alright He can play honky tonk just like anything Saving it up for friday night With the sultans with the sultans of swing
And a crowd of young boys theyre fooling around in the corner Drunk and dressed in their best brown baggies and their platform soles They dont give a damn about any trumpet playing band It aint what they call rock and roll And the sultans played creole
And then the man he steps right up to the microphone And says at last just as the time bell rings thank you goodnight now its time to go home And he makes it fast with one more thing we are the sultans of swing
Wanna tell you a story, About the house-man blues I come home one Friday, Had to tell the landlady I'd-a lost my job She said that don't confront me, Long as I get my money next Friday Now next Friday come I didn't get the rent, And out the door I went
So I goes to the landlady, I said, "You let me slide?" I'll have the rent for you in a month. Next I don't know So said let me slide it on you know people, I notice when I come home in the evening She ain't got nothing nice to say to me, But for five year she was so nice Loh' she was lovy-dovy, I come home one particular evening The landlady said, "You got the rent money yet?", I said, "No, can't find no job" Therefore I ain't got no money to pay the rent She said "I don't believe you're tryin' to find no job" Said "I seen you today you was standin' on a corner, Leaning up against a post" I said "But I'm tired, I've been walkin' all day" She said "That don't confront me, Long as I get my money next Friday" Now next Friday come I didn't have the rent, And out the door I went
So I go down the streets, Down to my good friend's house I said "Look man I'm outdoors you know, Can I stay with you maybe a couple days?" He said "Let me go and ask my wife" He come out of the house, I could see it in his face I know that was no He said "I don't know man, ah she kinda funny, you know" I said "I know, everybody funny, now you funny too" So I go back home I tell the landlady I got a job, I'm gonna pay the rent She said "Yeah?" I said "Oh yeah" And then she was so nice, Loh' she was lovy-dovy So I go in my room, pack up my things and I go, I slip on out the back door and down the streets I go She a-howlin' about the front rent, she'll be lucky to get any back rent, She ain't gonna get none of it So I stop in the local bar you know people, I go to the bar, I ring my coat, I call the bartender Said "Look man, come down here", he got down there So what you want?
One bourbon, one scotch, one beer Well I ain't seen my baby since I don't know when, I've been drinking bourbon, whiskey, scotch and gin Gonna get high man I'm gonna get loose, Need me a triple shot of that juice Gonna get drunk don't you have no fear I want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer One bourbon, one scotch, one beer
But I'm sitting now at the bar, I'm getting drunk, I'm feelin' mellow I'm drinkin' bourbon, I'm drinkin' scotch, I'm drinkin' beer Looked down the bar, here come the bartender I said "Look man, come down here" So what you want?
One bourbon, one scotch, one beer No I ain't seen my baby since the night before last, Gotta get a drink man I'm gonna get gassed Gonna get high man I ain't had enough, Need me a triple shot of that stuff Gonna get drunk won't you listen right here, I want one bourbon, one shot and one beer One bourbon, one scotch, one beer
Now by this time I'm plenty high, You know when your mouth a-getting dry you're plenty high Looked down the bar I say to my bartender I said "Look man, come down here", he got down there So what you want this time? I said "Look man, a-what time is it?" He said "The clock on the wall say three o'clock Last call for alcohol, so what you need?"
